It started with a lemonade stand.

BizBuild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that grew out of something simple. Guga liked building things and talking to people. Lemonade stands turned into small projects. Small projects turned into a bigger idea.
He kept noticing the same gap. School didn't teach the basics of business — how to price, how to budget, how to talk to customers. And in under-resourced communities, those chances were even harder to find.
So he started BizBuild as a place to practice, not pretend. Pick a project. Set a goal. Make a plan. Talk to real people. Ship something. Miss. Adjust. Try again.
It feels like a workshop more than a class. Reps over theory. Community over clout. Wins are shared. Mistakes are recycled into lessons.
Students learn sales by asking for the sale. They learn finance by making a budget and living with it. They learn leadership by cleaning up after the event when everyone's tired.
BizBuild brings hands-on learning to schools and clubs, with extra focus on access. Workshops, mentors, and materials go where they're needed most so students can start for real.
